can i make a bold statement?
i think i've discovered the best iced tea. ever.
second only to my mother's famous nestea.
and a delicious-beyond-words genuine southern sweet tea a little old lady made me in north carolina.
i discovered my first bottle of sweet leaf tea on a shelf in the local kroger.
i bought it for the cute granny on the wrapper & the organic origins.
but i became addicted on account of the fabulous taste.
the combination of green tea, honey and mint is perfection.
genuinely quenching your thirst, while still giving you the illusion of a sweet indulgence.
when i returned to kroger to stock up-- i was shocked to discover empty shelves.
say it isn't so!?!
determined to never be rendered sweet leaf tea-less, i took to the internet.
and have since been ordering this fabulous 'granny tea' in bulk.
straight from the source.
do visit the website.
it's the coolest. it even has a little radio icon that plays sweet leaf's radio station.
its own personal pandora.
you gotta love that.
order a case. or search your zip code for a retailer near you.
every single sip will be worth it.
p.s. always spring for the glass bottle. it just tastes better.

Everyone in Austin LOVES Sweet Leaf! So delicious! But I agree--not as delicious as my mothers!
ReplyDeleteoh man, i am not a tea person so i'm gonna have to take your word for this! but i do love the packaging. to answer your question: i was reading The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo and have just begun Water for Elephants. The former was pure entertainment, but I have a feeling I'm really going to LOVE the latter!
