:: summer afternoon, summer afternoon ::

gearing up for a weekend at work.

but maintaining some inspiration and sanity by:

planning a few awesome trips

listening to bouncy summer tunes

finishing a novel

writing

picking fresh veggies from my garden for a summer salad

and imagining i'm gazing out the window from that cozy desk above.

enjoy every single second of the weekend!

Summer afternoon - summer afternoon; to me those have always been the two most beautiful words in the English language. ~Henry James

  19. That's so great that you're writing a novel. I envy that skill. And while I'm no novel writer, I love using these summer days to do creative things, I feel so accomplished when I go to bed. Glad to hear your enjoying the weekend :)

  21. I also did a weekend at work, but I'm guessing your job is much more tasking then mine. I have a notebook I take everywhere with me so just in case the inspiration hits for something I'm working on, I write it down. Thanks for the ideas of how to make it feel a little more summery. I sat by the pool this weekend & got s sunburn! It indeed feels like summer now. Well atleast on my shoulders.
