:: an hour from home...

i went on vacation.
one hour from home.
i traded the city.
for a slice of paradise.

& while i could go on and on--

i think i'll let the beauty of michigan speak for itself.

  2. Tim Horton's?? I'm Canadian! I thought they only had that in Canada!

    Crazy me for picking that out of all the photos (haha). The last one, in particular, is simply stunning. I bet it was a wonderful time.

  4. man.

    it will never cease to amaze me how , in Michigan , one can travel a little way in one direction and it feels as if you are in an entirely different part of America. i really appreciate that about this place.

    great photos.

  14. absolutely gorgeous! I love Michigan. My parents are at our cottage this week near Traverse City and I'm totally jealous (even though we were there in June). I would live up there if I could! well, if it wasn't so cold in the winter!

    Hope you had a great time!
