if i were to be totally honest.
i would have to say that i'm not a huge fan of butter.
i never just smooth it on bread.
or saute veggies in it.
i'm always reaching for the olive oil.
the sesame oil.
the coconut oil.
the nutella....
but i've been converted by padma lakshmi.
her cookbook : tangy tart hot & sweet
has been a favorite on my shelf for several years.
but it wasn't until a few months ago that i happened upon
the little recipe for chili honey butter.
tucked neatly in the back of the volume--
this recipe delivers-
with both its simplicity & deliciousness.
and let me tell you, it alone is worth the price of the book.
i've been slathering this butter on everything.
do yourself a favor and follow suit.
